CURRICULUM EXCELLENCE
Foundation to Specialisation
Structured academic progression covering design thinking, spatial volume, technical drawing standards, and professional studio practice.
DON'T JUST LEARN THE PROFESSION. EXPERIENCE IT.
Because great design isn't just about knowing what to create — it's about knowing how to see it, draw it, think it through, build it on site and bring it to life.
Understand space, proportion, light, materials and human context before making design decisions. Develop a spatial design mind that sees possibility before placing the first line.
Translate observation into sketches, working drawings, 3D spatial models and technical detailing packages. Master the digital and analog tools that bring design thinking to life.
Understand how design moves from drawing to real-world execution. Learn how projects are actually delivered — from site coordination and material decisions to execution, timelines, budgets, and the people who make it happen.
Understand space, proportion, form, light, material, people and purpose before making design & build decisions.
Why Students Choose DNB
Five fundamental pedagogical convictions that separate DNB Excellence from conventional classroom-bound design schools — built for real spatial capability.
Live interactive classes — NOT pre-recorded. Online convenience paired with offline studio depth. Hybrid at DNB is a deliberate, structured spatial advantage.
Direct access to real businesses of founders. Live construction site audits, factory tours, and material centre explorations are embedded in the curriculum — not optional extras.
Covers Indian design sensibilities, climatic realities, and regional materiality alongside global standards, international software workflows, and world-class aesthetics.
DNB teaches design AND build. At DNB, 'Build' is half our name and our core conviction: you master working drawings, MEP sequencing, contractor BOQs, material procurement, vendor negotiations, and live on-site supervision — practical, real-world skills that turn design concepts into physical built spaces.
Graduates leave with an industry-vetted professional portfolio, verified site experience, cutting-edge software mastery, and direct career pathways to leading interior studios, turnkey execution firms, corporate organizations, and independent entrepreneurial practice.

The DNB Dual Philosophy
Designing a space is about ideas, colors, and layouts. Building it is about materials, contractors, and on-site execution.
See how the two tracks differ — and why knowing both gives you a massive career advantage.
“How should the space look, feel, and function?”
You are the creative mind. You understand the client's needs, plan the spatial layouts, choose colors and finishes, and create photorealistic 3D views so clients can see their finished home or store before work begins.
“How does the drawing become a real space?”
You are the execution lead. You take drawings to the job site, manage carpenters, electricians, and painters, calculate material costs, and ensure the project is delivered on time with top quality.
